ISRO Launches 144th IIRS Outreach Program: AI and ML in Geodata Analysis

The Indian Institute of Remote Sensing (IIRS), under the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), has been a pioneer in training professionals in Remote Sensing, Geoinformatics, and GNSS Technology. Established in 1966 as the Indian Photo-interpretation Institute (IPI), IIRS has expanded its training programmes to cater to a wide range of participants, including fresh graduates, mid-career professionals, and policy makers.
The “AI/ML for Geodata Analysis” course aims to introduce participants to the fundamentals of AI, ML, and Deep Learning (DL), with a focus on their applications in geospatial data processing.
